PEAK Mission
The C.L. Smith Elementary PEAK program’s mission is to enable all of our students to participate in extracurricular activities. We are inspired by and modelled on the Pacheco PEAK program, now in its 10th Year.
By securing scholarships and providing equipment we work to level the playing field for the families we serve.
PEAK Programs
We offer assistance with enrollment fees, equipment costs, technical support and translation to help students find a program and register.
Support PEAK
Participation in after school and enrichment programs helps our superstar students find and follow their passion and shine on a non academic stage.
Representation, equity and inclusion still matter for our students after the school day has ended.
Even after controlling for family background and cognitive ability, involvement in extracurricular activities predicts higher grades; higher college aspirations, enrollment, and completion; greater self-discipline, self-esteem, and resilience.
